Jamaica, mon!

I like to blog about my travels, so I'm going to make a few posts on some of the places I've been. This one is our fabulous honeymoon to Ocho Rios, Jamaica. It was wonderful.

Here we are after stepping onto Jamaican ground. It was soo hot and muggy, and we got to sit in this nice air-conditioned motorcoach...unfortunately, we were later moved to a smaller vehicle because there was no reason to take a bus for five couples.

We stayed at the beautiful Sandals resort in Ocho Rios. Sandals is a wonderful, all-inclusive resort, and I completely recommend it. The experience is great from start to finish. They even have their own fancy lounge IN the airport after you pick up your luggage. You sit and relax, have free drinks and snacks and wait while they load your luggage and prepare the transportation.

This is the lobby of the resort. As soon as we stepped off the vehicle, we were treated like VIP guests. They bring registration/check-in to you, they serve drinks and food right away, and give you a cool towel. Honestly, I didn't know how to react...I felt a bit spoiled haha.

Colton and I were in a service room (meaning we had concierge service and room service). So we were escorted to our room and given a private tour of the property. In our room, we had our own mini bar that was fully stocked (and restocked every day). I wish I wasn't allergic to alcohol so I could have at least tasted the delicious rum. Oh well. Colton did his fair share for me haha.

My hubby is VERY excited to be there. This is our stunning room where we spent six glorious days.

Our view! Honestly, there isn't much more I can say about this. It was the perfect room.

A little ping pong action in Jamaica so we didn't get rusty.

Colton starting off the honeymoon vacation right haha.

Room service...I highly recommend it. We got to be nice and lazy. They set up all of our food for us...craziness. What a view for breakfast huh?

Ready for my first dip in the Caribbean! (Drinking the most delicious non-alcoholic beverage in all the world.)

The happy couple. What a perfect honeymoon!
By the way, the color of the water is the most stunning I have ever seen. I literally have about fifty pictures of the SAME shots of water...just trying so hard to capture the color and beauty...the images just don't even come close to doing it justice. Oh well, I have the memories right?

A little off center, but I think it's kind of a fun photo.

How we spent many of our early afternoons.

Crazy, beautiful sunset.

The tree bar...inside. Just a picture of my sexy man.

On our shopping excursion around Ocho Rios. This was our last stop, at a crafts area. We were totally bamboozled into buying $50 worth of Jamaican souvenirs we didn't need hehe. Oh well, they were hard-working people, and we are just too nice to say no sometimes.

Coconuts! Very refreshing.

But nothing can quite compare to my all time favorite tropical-fruit-blend-slushy-deliciousness.

Colton enjoying the vacay.

Mrs. Lindelof enjoying the beautiful view and warm sun.

Our own little sailing excursion with our Captain Jimmy.

Sailing fun.

Awww, so cute. It was from our concierge team. They also left us wine (that i couldn't drink) and chocolates (which we devoured).

The cute display didn't last long after this picture because Ms. Jamie was very sick and had to lay down haha. Bummer.

Colton and I went exploring around the resort to make sure we experienced it all.

The flower was too beautiful to pick, so I just pretended.

This is what I think of when I think of relaxation and rest. (Although they were much more difficult to use than I had anticipated haha.)

Mr. and Mrs. Lindelof

Colton's favorite bar on the resort included yummy drinks and a POPCORN machine. I think they put that there just specially for him haha.

Jamaica, mon!

Wedding bling.

Haha. Ok, so here we are testing out the last restaurant on the resort that we hadn't tried yet. It was Italian and delicious. Colton couldn't decide between two different entrees, so the waiter recommended he try both...so he did. haha. Thank goodness all the food was included! Yikes.

Big fan!

Saying goodbye to Sandals, Jamaica, and a beautiful, wonderful honeymoon. Back to the real world of wedded bliss :o).
